"We had a great time. It was so different from our prior vacations, Buenos Aires, Madrid, Rome...all cities, and this was so relaxing. Sitting on the deck and listening to the birds and monkeys and dodging the beetle were great and even seeing a snake on our last night. The property was great. Close enough, but far enough away that we didn't hear all the partying and music from Chico's. Even during the "busy" week, Montezuma wasn't bad. The restaurants did start to fill up, but there's always someplace new to try. Thank you so much for helping us get the car and setting up the snorkeling and zip lining tours. We really enjoyed them. If we hear of anyone looking for a place to just chill, we won't hesitate to send them your way. "

"Agua Vista provides a perfect location for travelers interested in being remote enough from Montezuma to enjoy a tranquil and relaxing escape, but within a healthy walking distance to the amenities and beaches Montezuma has to offer. We found Casa Morfo to be comfortable, with ample indoor and outdoor living space. It was such a sanctuary. We spent our first two days at the house leaving only to shop for groceries in Cobano. When our friends arrived on the third day, we found the house to be perfect to share with another couple. Alex and Khalida were very gracious and knowledgeable hosts - pointing us in the direction of monkeys, waterfalls, and other local "must see" attractions. We will be back for another stay."

"We got a great deal in an incredibly beautiful spot. The view from the front of the house looks out over the mountains and down to the ocean and the back of the house is up against the jungle. The inside is beautiful, made from the surrounding teak wood, it has a real cabin feel, with a full kitchen, and wraparound porch. From our bedroom we can hear the constant hum of the river that runs below our house, about a 2 min walk, where there are 3 small waterfalls. During the day we see hummingbirds all around the flowers of our house, hear the parrots squalking in the trees and the howler monkeys in the distance. It’s funny, because as I’m writing this, I’m thinking it all sounds to good to be true, no where sounds that great. We honestly wouldn’t believe it unless we were here. We both agree, out of all the places we have been this year [they traveled around the world], we think this is absolutely the best, we can’t believe it took us 11 years to get here.
The wildlife here is so abundant, we have to keep our eyes alert all the time. In three days we’ve seen brilliant blue butterflies everywhere, hummingbirds, tree frogs, pizotes, red squirrels, monkeys, bats, iguanas, and birds we’ve never seen before. The animals here are really something!"

" My week in Agua Vista could not have been more perfect. My friend and I stayed in a spacious, two bedroom home with a fully equipped kitchen and huge living area. Everything is new, tasteful and comfortable. Much of our time “at home” was spent on the veranda where we had a stunning, 180 degree view of the Pacific Ocean and monkeys swinging through the trees. Since Agua Vista is surrounded by the jungle, we were treated also to frequent sightings of coati mundis, iguanas, and parrots along with flowers and trees of every size and color. Our hosts, Khalida and Alex could not have been more gracious. They arranged tours for us to nearby beaches, tide pools, waterfalls and national parks. They took us into the charming and hip town of Montezuma where we enjoyed the Farmer’s Market and some waterside dining. Whatever we needed, Khalida and Alex provided. We had only to ask. They arranged for laundry and maid services and brought us groceries. We felt at home immediately upon arrival. At Agua Vista the pace of life is relaxing. The surroundings are beautiful. The accommodations are excellent. It offers the best of Costa Rica and we wish we had spent our entire trip there. We are definitely coming back! "
